Energy Efficiency Loan Program

City of Bainbridge Island and Kitsap Credit Union have partnered to create an Energy Efficiency Loan Program, making it easy for homeowners and businesses to make cost-saving improvements which save energy, increase the comfort, health and safety of your home, and protect the environment. There are no loan-origination fees.

Three loan options are available:

• Unsecured Home Improvement Loan: Borrow from $1,000 to $10,000
• Unsecured Home Equity Loan: Borrow from $10,001 to $50,000
• Business Improvement Term Loan: Borrow from $5,000 to $25,000

Financing through the Energy Efficiency Loan Program can be used for:

• Air Sealing and Duct Sealing
• Attic, wall, floor, duct, water heater and water pipe insulation
• Ventilation
• Heating and cooling systems
• Water heating systems
• Energy-efficient window and door replacement
• Energy-efficient lighting upgrades
• High-performance water fixtures
• ENERGY STAR® appliances
• Heat exchangers
• Renewable energy solutions combined with energy-efficiency improvements
